Ski Fields
The cantebury region has 2 commercial ski fields the biggest of wich is Mt Hutt 20 min drive out of methven or Porters heights about 45 min from methven, there are also a number of club ski fields in the area these are ski areas generally with no grooming and older style nut cracker rope tows, witch may sound daunting but these ski areas have amazing terrain and atmosphere not to be missed.
